Howdy, I’m Akseli.
I work as a web developer (that’s a sort of a bit nibbler) in an establishment called The Finnish Broadcasting Company. This is my little cozy corner in the wonderland of the Web. I hope you’ll enjoy your stay!

I’m into making lists, so I scribbled a few here.
Craft and grind
- Improving accessibility. One of the greatest and most distinctive characteristics of the web is its accessibility.
- User interface design. The top priorities of my work include making services more easy and more fun to use.
- Drizzling on some visual honey or in other words, creating eye candy. This is a nice hobby from time to time as a counterbalance to the more noble ideals. ✨
Recreational pursuits
- Computer and board games. At the moment I tend to play some Dredge, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and the two most recent Kirby games.
- Biking (mostly on warm spring days).
- Films. I like to visit film festivals and movie theaters. Especially I’m fond to great adventure films and documentaries.
